1. Having analyzed the available planning methods in the automotive industry within the framework of one supplier and several consumers, he substantiated from a scientific point of view the importance, for this class of tasks, of the criterion of the most efficient use of the working day, limited by shift work standards. A. Musaev proposed a model for optimizing this problem, and on its basis an accurate and practical algorithm for planning the daily regimen and work norms was compiled. The mathematical model proposed by the author, based on the coordination of the existing work volume and potential capabilities of vehicles, was an integer mathematical programming problem.

2. The second area of ​​activity of A. Musaev is devoted to the management of the development of the oil engineering industry. This industry, being the basis of the engineering industry of the Republic of Azerbaijan, under the conditions of centralized planning and free trade in petroleum engineering is due to the need to maximize the satisfaction of the needs of petroleum engineering through the oil and gas sector. The need to ensure internal and external needs for oil and gas resources is also complicated by the presence of these complexes on the territory of countries, the economic and economic relations with which are terminated.
