Main scientific achievements	“Gilchigli-85” barley sort. With the decree No.51 of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Azerbaijan on May 19, 1997 on authority given to Ministry of Agriculture, the patent and certificate were bought for the “Gilchigli-85” sort No.00169 to the New Selection Achievement. “Garaja-85” pea sort. According to the decision No.51 of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Azerbaijan dated may 19, 1997, patent and authorship certificate for the “Garaca-85” pea sort No. 00171 was obtained on the basis of the authority granted to the Ministry of Agriculture. The technology of intensive cultivation of types of flavored tobacco in the autonomous republic has been studied. Research is being conducted on a large number (30 varieties) of soybeans. A large number of varieties of hard and soft wheat have been tested and hybridization of different combinations has been carried out on positively different varieties. Resistance, productivity and quality indicators of hybrids against various stress factors in the conditions of the autonomous republic are studied.
