Head of the Executive Board of “Azerkhalcha” Open Joint Stock Company, Head of the Carpet Industry Sector of the Institute of Archeology and Ethnography of ANAS, Doctor of Historical Sciences, Professor Vidadi Muradov awarded with the jubilee medal "100th Anniversary of the Azerbaijan Democratic Republic (1918-2018)" by the Order of the President Ilham Aliyev.

V.Muradov carries out researches on studying the historical roots of carpet weaving, analysis and comparison of ancient traditions, study of the history of Azerbaijan carpet weaving, improvement of the principles of classification of carpet groups, revealing and objective orientation of national carpets kept in world museums and private collections..

He is the author of 200 fair monographs, textbooks and articles published in our republic and abroad. The scientist is also the founder and editor-in-chief of the "Azerbaijan Carpets" scientific-publicist magazine published since 2011.
