Azerbaijan National Academy of Science

As you know, in June 2019, ANAS Institute of Zoology and the EcoHealth Alliance USA (EHA) signed a cooperation agreement. According to the document, in September 2019 it is planned to begin field studies on zoonotic bat disease in Azerbaijan. The project will be implemented by laboratory staff of the Institute of Zoology and coordination, Ph.D. in Biology and expert on bats Nijat Huseynov.

Field scientific works it is planned for 2019-2021. To identify bats viruses it is expected to catch animals for a series of analyzes.
