ANAS Sheki Regional Scientific Center held a next seminar within the framework of the “Year of Nasimi” dedicated to the work of the great Azerbaijani poet Imadaddin Nasimi.

At the event, deputy director for scientific Affairs of the ANAS Sheki Regional Scientific Center, Ph.D in Biology Farhad Azizov noted the importance of the Order of AR President Ilham Aliyev on “Celebration the 650th anniversary of the great Azerbaijani poet Imadaddin Nasimi” dated November 15, 2018 and on “Declaring 2019 in the Republic of Azerbaijan Year of Naismi” dated January 11, 2019. He spoke about Nasimi’s life, the place and role of his activity, philosophical views in national literature.

Then, leading researcher at the Department of Folklore Study and Folk Arts, PhD in Philology Kamil Adishirinov delivered a paper on “The lyrical hero in Nasimi's work - place of “Divine Love”.

K.Adishirinov noted that, Imadaddin Nasimi is a thinker, who created the rich cultural and spiritual values of the East and the most valuable pearls of the word of art.

According to him, the poetry by Nasimi, also known in Azerbaijani literature as a poet of love, can be considered the philosophical pearls of world poetry.

The seminar also listened a report by the head of the Department of Folklore Study and Folk Arts of the ANAS Sheki Regional Scientific Center, PhD student Pakiza Zakirova.
