Azerbaijan National Academy of Science

Training on topic “Creating articles in Wikipedia” at the Central Scientific Library of ANAS (CSL) continues. As a result of the training, articles in the Azerbaijani section of Wikipedia have been researched and enriched with reliable sources in recent years.

Students of the Faculty of Journalism of the Baku State University (BSU) who participated in the training were presented with gratitude and certificates by the CSL leadership for the articles they created on Wikipedia.

Vugar Zifaroglu, dean of the Faculty of Journalism at the Baku State University, Doctor of Philology, was awarded with gratitude by the director of the Central Scientific Library Leyla Imanova for his support of the development of "Wikipedia" in Azerbaijani.

The award-winning volunteers have developed more than 30 articles so far.
