“Arabi21” website shared a paper by orientalist-scientist on the realities of Karabakh

A leading researcher of the Department of History of Religion and Public Opinion of the Institute of Oriental Studies of ANAS named after academician Ziya Bunyadov, Ph.D IN Philosophy Associate Professor Elvusal Mammadov's paper dubbed "Two historical documents exposing Armenian lies" has been shared on "Arabi21" website.

The paper contains translations and explanations of two historical documents exposing the Armenian lies about the status of Nagorno-Karabakh. The first is the protocol of the plenary session of the Caucasus Bureau of the Central Committee of the Russian Communist Bolshevik Party, and the other is a letter from A. Mikoyan, an Armenian member of the Caucasus Provincial Commissariat of the Russian Communist Bolshevik Party, to Vladimir Lenin, chairman of the Central Committee of the Russian Communist Bolshevik Party.

Both documents strongly confirm that Karabakh was a historical territory of Azerbaijan and has never been part of Armenia as a territorial administrative unit. The first document dated July 5, 1921 clearly states that the participants of the plenary session of the Caucasus Bureau of the Central Committee of the Russian Communist Bolshevik Party, including Nazaretyan, an Armenian member of the Bureau, discussed the permanent (historical) connection of Karabakh with Azerbaijan, and agreed to keep it within Azerbaijan. Thus, on the one hand, the historical truth is confessed; on the other hand, the decision is made not to hand over Karabakh to Azerbaijan, but to keep it as part of it.

The second document consists of a letter from A. Mikoyan to Lenin, who played a major role in the establishment and strengthening of the Armenian state. According to the text of the letter, Mikoyan complains about the Dashnaks who want to unite Karabakh with Armenia, admitting that the Karabakh Armenians have no historical ties with Yerevan.
