Azerbaijan National Academy of Science

ANAS National Museum of Azerbaijan Literature named after Nizami Ganjavi held next workshop dedicated to open-air museums.

Dealing with features and achievements of archeology science senior researcher of Ancient and Medieval centuries of Azerbaijan literature department, prof. Kamil Ibrahimov informed about archeological findings, geography and cultural heritage of Icherisheher, Shamkir, Tovuz, Sheki antic towns.

Museum associates got acquainted with underground city remains, castle walls, burial places that portray Azerbaijan architecture through video-slide and obtained interesting data on modern archeo parks.

By promoting these natural museum-tows of Azerbaijan, lecturer informed the attendees with open-air museums of Turkey, Greece and Italy.

Workshop continued through questions and speeches by museum associates – PhD in philology Malahat Kalantarli, researchers Nazmiyye Yighitoglu, Solmaz Azadova and others.
