Azerbaijan National Academy of Science

ANAS Institute of Geology and Geophysics hosted CD training on theme “Organization of management bodies and civil defense forces during the elimination of consequences of emergencies”.

Event was opened by deputy head of Civil Defense on logistical support Nazim Mamedov.

He noted that, the purpose of carrying out trainings is providing the organization of safety and the correct defense of collective during emergency situations.

Then Chief of Staff of Civil Defense of this scientific institution Oktay Farzaliyev told about the natural and technogenic reasons of emergency situations and about opportunities of fight against them.

At the event also was given detailed information about the functions of members of scientific institutions working in management positions, as well as the rules of the rescue and evacuation operations.

Participants of action were informed on mutual activity of an administrative board with collective during emergency situations. During training the plan of measures on civil defense was specified.
