Director of Bibliotheca Alexandrina was awarded by the Golden Medal named after Nizami Ganjavi of Azerbaijan Republic

Co-Chair of the International Center of Nizami Ganjavi, director of the Bibliotheca Alexandrina, Ismail Serageldin was awarded by Golden Medal named after Nizami Ganjavi of Azerbaijan Republic.

Ismail Serageldin was awarded by this medal for his work on the preservation of the world's scientific heritage, the study and promotion of thoughts and ideas of Nizami Ganjavi, representing universal values.

In 2014, under the leadership of a prominent scientist Ismail Serageldin at the Bibliotheca Alexandrina was prepared the initial stage of the catalog, consisting of a rich literary heritage of the genius of the Eastern culture, Nizami Ganjavi.

In 2015, at the opening ceremony of the international conference and Nizami Ganjavi’s bust was held the presentation of book of the genius Azerbaijani poet in Arabic.

One of the founders of the International Center of Nizami Ganjavi I.Serageldin is a vice -president of the Academy of Sciences of Egypt, member of the National Academy of Sciences, American Philosophical Society, Center of the Brookings Doha, European Academy of Arts and Sciences, American Academy of Arts and Sciences and the Honorary Committee of the Fund "Shirak".

The owner of the medal "Public welfare" of USA National academy of Sciences, award "Rising sun" of Japan, award of the Honorable legion of France and the award "Art and Literature" of France, I. Serageldin was awarded by rank of "The cleverest person of Egypt".
