ANAS Central Scientific Library (CSL) held educational event on “Modern approach to Mammary gland diseases”.

According to chief oncologist of the republic Azad Karimli, the cause of Mammary gland diseases is not known to science, there are certain factors to be considered as the cause of them. The factor of age, heredity factor, various hormonal disorders, obesity, harmful habits and other causes of the disease are considered to be dangerous to the emerge and development. However, these factors create anxiety in humans, so, after age 35 each woman must be examined by a doctor once a year.

Then, General Director of the National Oncology Center Samir Gurbanov spoke about breast cancer and self-examination techniques. Breast cancer is the most common type of cancer among women all over the world, saying that the age factor plays an important role in this disease. Sooner if the tumor younger, as soon as it affects other organs and treatment is subject to much less.
