Ganja city executive power joint with Young Scientists and Specialists Council of ANAS, and NAP Ganja city Organization held scientific – practical conference entitled “Heydar Aliyev and modern academic youth” devoted to 92nd anniversary of national leader Heydar Aliyev, in Heydar Aliyev Center.

In advance, event attendees pilgrimaged the monument of great leader in front of center and put flowers .

Opening the conference head of Ganja city executive power Elmar Valiyev delivered a lecture on “National leader Heydar Aliyev’s historical merits in development of Azerbaijan science and education” and stressed out that, national leader’s farsighted political heritage is a model for the whole world.

Later on, chairman of Ganja Department of ANAS, Honored Scientist, acad. Fuad Aliyev delivered a lecture on “implementing Heydar Aliyev’s ideas in science and education of Western region”.  Basics of the strategy to link the future development of Azerbaijan to science and education was laid by national leader. Yet in former Soviet era having merits in science and education of Azerbaijan, great leader used the opportunities in the years of independence and underpinned the obtained achievements even more.

Delivering a lecture on “Heydar Aliyev and Azerbaijan science”, Famin Salmanov, chair of Young Scientists and Specialists Council of ANAS PhD in physics-math, spoke about celebrate statesman’s historical merits for homeland and Azerbaijan people, and his huge role in growths of science and education.  Present youth policy, overall underpinning the prosperity of young generation in Azerbaijan are one of the vital and purposeful steps taken by Heydar  Aliyev, he noted.

In the event lectures were delivered on “Youth capital of Europe 2016 – Ganja” by chairman of Ganja student parliament, “Development of science and education is the triumph of Heydar Aliyev’s ideas” by chair of Ganja Young Scientists and Specialists Council Elnur Hasanov and others.

Chairman of the Council of Young Scientists and Specialists of the Institute of Linguistics, PhD in philology, associate professor Aynur Gadimaliyeva, member of the Council of Young Scientists and Specialists of the Institute of History, researcher Leyla Huseynova, chairman of the Council of Young Scientists of the Azerbaijan State Agrarian University Fariz Alekberov, chairman of Ganja Young Scientists and Specialists, presidential prizewinner for science Elnur Hasanov and others reported in the conference and highlighted that, currently national leader’s ideas are being successfully continued by President Ilham Aliyev.  

After conference attendees were closely got familiar with material-cultural monuments of Ganja and witnessed for its modern development.
