Azerbaijan National Academy of Science

Baku Business Center held final phase of “Azerbaijan history – architectural heritage on the eyes of youth” drawing competition, June 6.

Project financially supported by Youth Foundation under AR President, co-organized by ANAS Institute of Archaeology and Ethnography, Khazar University, Academy of Public Administration under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Azerbaijan State Economic University, Gazelli Group Company, the Economist Student Support Public Union and Baku Business Center, aims to promote national cultural heritage among the youth and teens.

Director of ANAS Institute of Archaeology and Ethnography, prof. Maisa Rahimova, founder of Khazar University Hamlet Isakhanli, secretary of Azerbaijan Artists Union, People Artist Aghaeli Ibrahimov, chair head of Academy of Public Administration under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, PhD in History, senior lecturer Firdovsiyya Ahmadova, president assistant of Gazelli Group Co. for general affairs Gulara Aliyeva, artist-sculptor Farman Gasimov, representative of Youth Foundation under AR President Ramin Jafarov were the members of the jury due to determining the winners.

In closing, winners of the drawing competition were aired. They were donated decent gifts by Gazelli Group Co. and diplomas of ANAS Institute of Archaeology and Ethnography.

By the decision of the jury, Lamiya Muslimova was deserved to third place with drawing of “Shirvanshahs palace”, Zohra Saatova to the second place with “Icherisheher”, Aytaj Hafizova to the first place with drawing of “Azerbaijan”.
