Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences

Archaeology Fund of ANAS National Museum of Azerbaijan History kicked off studies within international project dubbed “Redevelopment and publication of archaeological materials obtained from excavations in Kultepe I during years of 1951-1964”.

Studies are chaired by chief department of Nakhchivan Branch of ANAS, corresponding member of ANAS Veli Bakhshaliyev and French National Center for Scientific Research Remi Burton. Project attendees are teacher at Nakhchivan State University Fizze Guliyeva, associates of the French National Center for Scientific Research Catherine Marro and Nicholas Gailhard. Head of the Fund Nasir Guluzadeh provides necessary assistance for project attendees due to successfully completion of studies.

Basically, studies compile measuring dimensions of the Kultepe I findings which stored at archeology fund, taking graphics and photo images of, including clarifying data related to them. The data obtained will be summarized and published.
