Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences

The positive trends observed in Azerbaijan science are confirmed on global worldwide ratings with concrete figures. Thus, this year, "SCOPUS" database of "Elsevier" publishing has released the official report which covers the period of 1962-2016 for Azerbaijan, including the Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences.

"SCOPUS" reflected the distribution charts of the publications according to types of papers and fields of sciences. Ranking list of authors for ANAS, the list of most cited papers have been shown.

Academician-secretary of ANAS, director of the Institute of Information Technology of ANAS Academician Rasim Alguliyev was ranked in the first place in the list of most productive scientists for ANAS.

Note that over 2500 names of journals and more than 33 thousand of books covering 33 various scientific directions are published by "Elsevier".
