The book dubbed “Conflict of Nagorno Karabakh in the Caucasus policy of the Iran Islamic Republic (1991-2005)” was released by a leading researcher of the Institute of Oriental Studies of ANAS PhD in History Subhan Talibli.

Scientific editor of the work is a chief of South Azerbaijan Department of the aforementioned institute – Samad Bayramzadeh, reviewers – director of the Caucasian Institute PhD in History Musa Gasimli, Deputy Director of Science of the Institute of History Jabi Bahramov as well as chief of Interntaional Relations Department of the Institute of History Hasan Alibeyli.

The monograph clarified the Armenian-Azerbaijani, Nagorno-Karabakh conflict in a planned form, through chronological sequence of historical facts and within the framework required by international law.

The publication analyzes Iran’s actions towards solution of Nagorno-Karabakh conflict in the Caucasus policy within the relations between Armenia and Iran-Azerbaijan.

The theoretical foundations of foreign policy in Islamic Republic of Iran (IRI), South Caucasus policy of Iran, as well as Azerbaijan-Iran relations, Iran's Armenian policy etc. were widely analyzed and studied in the book.
