Azerbaijan National Academy of Science

September 28-30, Director of Shaki Regional Scientific Center of ANAS, PhD in physics Yusuf Shukurlu, Deputy Director for Science PhD in Biology Farhad Azizov, PhD in Biology Gudrat Bakirov and Academicians Yevgeniya Bakirova, Aygun Ismayilova, Joshgun Mammadov were on a mission in Georgia.

The aim of visit was to participate in the international scientific conference "Modern technologies of production of environmentally friendly products in the name of sustainable development of agriculture", held in Tbilisi.

The event was held with the organizational support of the Agricultural Academy of Georgia Shota Rustaveli and financial support of the National Science Foundation.

At the international event, Azerbaijani scientists made presentations on the theme "Making Color cocoons with fluorescent substances in sericulture", "Research motes local varieties of pears (Pyrus communis L.) Sheki-Zagatala region of Azerbaijan", "Biomorphological particular features of plant Amarant (Amaranthus L. ), grown in Sheki-Zagatala region of Azerbaijan ", "The role and importance of organic farming in the sustainable development of agriculture in the north-western region of Azerbaijan. "

Reports of Sheki Regional Scientific Center aroused great interest of the conference participants.
