Presentation of the monograph "The Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic on the road to independence" and the collection of articles "Nakhchivan in the years of independence: the goals, development and results" by Chairman of Nakhchivan Division of ANAS, Academician Ismayil Hajiyev.

Speaking at the event, Academician Ismayil Hajiyev spoke about the historical significance of the presented works. It was noted that the publication of both books is an important event in the scientific life of the independent Azerbaijan.

At the event were presented reports by the Director of the Institute of History, Ethnography and Archaeology of Nakhchivan Division, corresponding member of ANAS Fakhraddin Safarli "Work on the history of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic in the years of independence" and chief department of the same institute, PhD in History Asaf Orujov "Work dedicated to the development of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic in the years of independence”.

It was said that in the books thoroughly analyzed and highlighted innovations that have taken place in the socio-political, socio-economic and cultural life of Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic in the years of independence. Proceedings are intended for researchers and the general readership.
