Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences

Delegation led by Prof. Johan Muller, Head of the Department of History of Archeology of Clay University named after Christian Albreht, visited Institute of Archeology and Ethnography of ANAS.

Guests visited Archeology Museum in Icheri Sheher, where they got acquainted with unique archaeological exhibits.

Head of Public Relations Department of the organization Parviz Gasimov informed the guests about the history and current state of archeological researches in Azerbaijan, excavations, experience of the institute in international cooperation.

German archaeologists, in turn, said that the institute was acquainted with the researches carried out in the ancient settlements of the Neolithic period of Goytepe in Tovuz region.

The sides underlined the importance of joint cooperation and research between the two organizations in the future.
