Next assembly of Scientific Council of the Institute of Geology and Geophysics was held. In an event was attended lecture titled " Development of numerical computational methods of the oil fields indicators taking into account decompressed and slider deformed models of rocks” by Bunyad Kazimov, PhD in engineering, leading researcher of “Processing of oil deposits” department.

B. Karimov provided information on recent studies have been carried out to determine numerical computational methods of the oil fields indicators taking into account decompressed and slider deformed models of rocks.

As well as were discussed the progress of the implementation of SRI, discussion and adoption of SRI interdisciplinary programs, leading researcher of “Mud Volcano” department, PhD in geology-mineralogy Orkhan Abbasov’s presentation for the title of senior lecturer over “Oil and Gas Geology and Exploration” specialty.
