| Basic scientific achievements |
1. Study of the Middle Paleolithic cave site Gazma in Nakhchivan and a monograph dedicated to this monument. 2. Opening of a number of medium and Early Paleolithic sites in Azerbaijan. One of the Paleolithic site Garaja, is the most important discovery in Azerbaijan over the past 50 years and claims to be the oldest Acheulean monument in the Caucasus. First time in outside of the cave Azykh on site Garaja have been found tools of Kuruchay culture, which allowed to prove the existence of this culture and expand the area of its distribution. |
