| Basic scientific achievements | For the first time in Azerbaijan linguistics verbs of movement (motion) and its an integral part verbs of horizontal movement (motion) were comprehensively investigated in the lexical-semantic and grammatical aspect on the material of English and Azerbaijan languages, were scientifically explained their specific functional and stylistic features.
