Date of establishment | According to the Decision of the Presidium of the Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences, the Council of Women of ANAS was established at the general meeting of the employees of the institute and scientific institutions of ANAS on May 2, 2018. | |
Basic activity directions | The purpose of the Council is to ensure and apply equal opportunities for men and women in political, economic, social, cultural and other spheres, through the awareness of the major directions of public policy, legislation and international commitments related to the provision of gender equality, to enhance the role of woman scientists in the scientific, socio-political, economic and cultural activities, their interest, dignity and rights in science and active involvement in public affairs. |
