Alizadeh Anar Nadir oglu
Alizadeh Anar Nadir oglu was born on September 23, 1951 in Baku. In 1974 he graduated from the Moscow State University named after MV Lomonosov.

He was deserved the degree of Doctor of Philosophy in Mathematics (1978), Doctor of Mathematical Sciences (1986), and Professor (1990). In 2007 he was elected corresponding member of ANAS.

A. Alizadeh was an engineer at the All-Union Scientific Research and Design Institute for Gas Processing and Transportation (1974-1978), Senior Designer at the AEA RSU (1978-1990), Professor at the Department of Theoretical Mechanics and Integrative Mechanics at Baku State University (1990-2000). He was the Head of the Department of Mathematics, Vice-Rector for Science and Technology (2000-2010), Vice-Rector for Science and International Relations of the Azerbaijan State Maritime Academy (2010-2012).

A. Alizadeh's research activity is mainly devoted to theoretical research in the field of deformed solid mechanics and the application of the results to various engineering issues.

A. Alizadeh is a true member of the International Academy of Engineering, Azerbaijan Engineering Academy, a member of the German Society for Applied Mathematics and Mechanics, a member of the Azerbaijan National Committee for Soil Mechanics and Construction, and the editor of the International Journal of “Mechanics and Mechanical Engineering”.

He is the author of 3 monographs, 6 books, more than 100 scientific papers, and 3 patents in mechanical engineering.

A. Alizadeh died in 2012.
