Mammadov Ilham Tofig oglu
Mammadov Ilham Tofig oglu was born on July 1, 1955 in Baku.

In 1975 he graduated from the Applied Mathematics Faculty of the Azerbaijan State Institute of Oil and Chemistry with honor diploma. In 1976 he was deserved the degree of Doctor of Philosophy in Mathematics, in 1981 - Doctor of Mathematics, and in 1988 - Professor.

I. Mammadov Assistant in the Applied Mathematics Department of the Azerbaijan State Institute of Oil and Chemistry in 1975-1982, Senior Research Fellow, Deputy Director for Research at the Institute of Mathematics and Mechanics, AAS, 1982-2001 and then worked as a director2001-2003.

I. Mammadov's research mainly concerns the quality theory of differential equations and the theory of boundary properties of elliptic and parabolic line and quasi-equation solutions of the second coefficient with the cut-off coefficient, the study of the solvability of the inhomogeneity, the theory of nonlinear characteristic equations, the solution of boundary and origin-boundary problems in different functional spaces, etc. dedicated to the study.

I. Mammadov is the author of more than 80 scientific articles and books. He has prepared 16 doctors of philosophy and 1 doctor of sciences.

From 1992 to 2001, he was a member of the Presidium of the Higher Attestation Commission under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, a member of the Azerbaijan Mathematical Society.

Corresponding member of ANAS Ilham Mammadov died in 2003 in Baku.
