Ahmadov Mubariz Mejid oglu
Mubariz Ahmadov was born on November 4, 1945 in the Gazakh region. After graduating from high school, he studied at the chemistry department of Azerbaijan State University (now BSU) in 1962-1970. In 1970 he entered the graduate school of the Institute of Inorganic and Physical Chemistry of the Academy of Sciences of Azerbaijan.

He began his career in 1964 as a researcher at the Institute of Inorganic and Physical Chemistry of the National Academy of Sciences (current Institute of Catalysis and Inorganic Chemistry), where he worked as a senior researcher in 1975-1986, and as a head of the laboratory in 1986-2003.

Since 2014, he headed the Department of Integrated Mineral Processing.

Mubariz Ahmadov defended PhD in 1974, doctoral in 1990, received the title of professor in 1992 and in 2001 was elected corresponding member of ANAS.

By scientists 1st was developed a technology for processing Filizchay polymetallic sulphide ores in several ways; a converted gas has been proposed for the reduction process of sulfur dioxide.

The results of the research of Professor M.Akmadov are reflected in more than 400 scientific papers and 2 monographs published in our country and abroad. Under his leadership were trained 21 PhDs and 1 Doctor of Science. Since 2000 he was a professor at the Department of Inorganic Chemistry at Baku State University.

He was awarded a number of orders and medals: the Order of “Glory”, Diplomas of the European Scientific Society and in 2005 the Order of “Shohrat”.

Corresponding member of ANAS Mubariz Majid oglu Ahmadov died on November 25, 2018 at 73rd.
