Basic activity directions	Formation of assortment of trees and shrubs to forest, city and forest- park landscape, the definition of priority directions of the introduction of trees plants in the region, the introduction and formation in the collections. Taxanomical indexes, biological features, agrotechniques of ornamental plants cultivated in natural and cultural conditions, study of controll measures against diseases and pests.
Main scientific achievements	The study of biological and ecological characteristics, resistance to environmental factors, new types of ornamental flowers, trees and shrubs in Apsheron conditions, a grouping of species and varieties to these factors and use to create landscape compositions.
