Basic activity directions   Development of new zeolite catalysts to obtain alicyclic dienes, acetylene, butandiol-1,4 and other oxygen compounds by oxidation conversion of naphthenic and low molecular paraffin hydrocarbons
Main scientific achievements  The industrial catalytic processes in immobile and boiling layers of catalysts with variable and stationary activity have been investigated. Methods of modeling and optimization of industrial processes and chemical-technological systems with account dynamics of these processes have been developed. On the base of these principles a perfect method was elaborated for optimum design and control over chemical-technological complexes. Optimum operating regimes of reactor elements functioning in wide processes of dehydration, hydrogenation and pyrolysis were found (Nijnekamsk, Oilchem Plant; Sumgait Ethylene-Polyethylene plant; PN Azerchem.). Recommendations were given for optimal design of a number of high-performance non-stationary and stationary catalytic processes, including pyrolysis of paraffin hydrocarbons and its mixtures (propane, ethane and mixed ethane-butanbutylene fraction). These processes were optimized, controlling methods over the processes were suggested and their income was calculated. The optimum type of reactor for these processes (adiabatic trisectioned reactor with cooling between sections) was determined on the base of developed kinetic models of hydrogenation processes of ethane-ethylene and propane- propylene fractions on selective catalyst G-58 C. The high effective multifunctional catalysts for multi-stage processes of oxidative transformation the low molecular paraffin and olefin hydrocarbons, arylation of olefins have been worked out. Scientific bases for active zeolite catalysts modified by various cations of transition elements, for the reactions of oxidative transformation of aliphatic alcohols into valuable oxygen complexes-aldehydes, carbonic acids and esters were studied. As a result, high-performance zeolite catalysts modified by 16 different cations were synthesized by oxidation of alcohols to produce formaldehyde acetaldehyde, aceton, methylethylketon, propionic oil, iso-oil, isovalerianic aldehydes; formic, vinegar, propionic acids; ethylacetate, propylpropionate butylbutoxide and other complexes. Kinetics and mechanism have been studied for all mentioned above processes. On the base of mordenite and ZSM type zeolites synthesized by hydrothermal reprocessing of volcano-ash-kaolinite system, active catalysts were prepared for etherification of vinegar acid with low aliphatic alcohols. High active metalzeolite catalyst was synthesized by ion-exchange method for oxidizing dimerization reaction of methane on the basis of natural zeolite and metal cations. Reaction is performed in double-stage reactor by adding oxygen gradually. Oxidizing dimerization reaction of methane on synthesized catalyst using this method allows getting high yields due to ethylene and acetylene, correspondingly 10-20% and 20-35%. High-performance metal zeolite catalyst was synthesized based on natural zeolite and metal cations for selective oxidizing dehydrogenation of naphthenic hydrocarbons. Oxidizing dehydrogenation reaction of cyclohexane on this catalyst was studied; reaction condition providing to get cyclohexadien – 1,3 with 30% yield was determined. Metal zeolite catalyst was synthesized on the basis of natural and metal cations for oxidizing conversion of methane to butandiol-1,4. The process is performed in double-stage reactor by adding oxygen gradually. When the process is conducted at optimum condition on synthesized catalyst, butandiol-1,4 with 22,0% can be obtained.
