Basic activity directions	Works on hygiene, preservation-conservation with conditions, binding and restoration problems and solutions of all the manuscripts and printed materials preserved in the Institute of Manuscripts on scientific basis; supervision the optimum condition of the treasures and exhibition halls; hygiene and restoration of the new materials in a quarantine condition; extermination treasures from pests; implementation of disinfection and disinsection works.
Main scientific achievements	A lot of written materials preserved in the Institute of Manuscripts are disinfected, preserved-conserved and restored on scientific basis, the optimum condition of the treasures are supervised and exterminated from pests.
