Basic activity directions	Republic soil genesis, present nomenclature and classification, theoretical basis of the antrogen influence on irrigated soils and soils degradation.
Main scientific achievements	At first the classification of Azerbaijan antropogen soils were composed answering international standards and soil reform. Azerbaijan soil map, in a scale 1:600000, 1991; Azerbaijan Republic state soil map, in a scale 1:100000, 2000 and "soil and soil-agrochemical maps Atlas of Azerbaijan Republic" were composed.
