1.Theoretical and applied problems of developing hybrid information technologies and intelligent control systems that allow improving profitability of industrial facilities and manufacturing of competitive products;

2.Theoretical and applied problems of developing monitoring technologies and systems for forecasting accidents that can cause large-scale damage to the country's economy and ecology;

3.Developing effective information means, facilities and systems based on new information technologies.

Main scientific achievements 

1.High vibration-producing units and vibration control points in different equipment have been investigated. For some types of equipment, the connection between vibration signals has been established in different units and systems failures. It has been shown that newly-emerged malfunctions in compressor stations manifest themselves as noises in vibration signal. As the existing vibration diagnostic systems are unable to evaluate these noises and generally try to eliminate them, the diagnostics level is low and its results are delayed;

2.A robust information system has been developed for diagnostics and forecasting of accidents at compression stations. Algorithms have been created for detecting accidents by analyzing noises in vibration signals of microchanges in technical facilities;

3.Hybrid information technologies have been proposed to improve the profitability of oil wells through their economically efficient adaptive management, ensuring real-time identification of dynamometers cards;

4.Algorithms have been developed for digital measurement of wattmeter cards W(t) and dynamometer cards P(t) during a pumping cycle of the pumpjack at high frequency [f≥1000 Hz] and their identification based on the robust noise technology for determining the beginning of malfunctions of underground and surface equipment of sucker rod pumping units;

5. An intelligent system has been developed that allows locating the zone of the focus of anomalous seismic processes, using combinations of changes in the noise characteristic of seismic-acoustic information received 10-20 hours before the earthquake from the network of 10 stations built in 2010-2014. In the future, the system can be used by seismologists as a tool.
