Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences

By order of President Ilham Aliyev, signed on January 15 on the occasion of the 90th anniversary of the prominent geologist, first vice-president of the State Oil Company of the Republic of Azerbaijan, academician Khoshbakht Yusifzadeh, an order was given to Azerbaijan Caspian Shipping Company CJSC. Pursuant to the order, the organization must ensure the assignment of the name of the scientist Khoshbakht Yusifzadeh to the new ship.

In accordance with the decree of the president of the country, a new generation oil tanker under construction at the Baku Shipbuilding Plant was named "Academician Khoshbakht Yusifzadeh" in honor of Kh. Yusifzadeh.

The ship is intended be commissioned in 2021.
