Azerbaijan National Academy of Science

Guided by paragraphs 19 and 32 of Article 109 of the Constitution of the Republic of Azerbaijan, "On Amendments to the Laws of the Republic of Azerbaijan" On Border Guards ","On Education” and “On Vocational Education” in connection with the entry into force of Law No. 51-VIQD dated April 17, 2020 of the Republic of Azerbaijan, and to ensure the application of this Law, I decide:

1. To determine that:

1.1. The powers of the relevant executive authority provided for in Article 14.8-1 of the Law of the Republic of Azerbaijan “On Education” shall be implemented by the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan;

1.2. In Article 14.8-1 of this Law, “scientific organization” means Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences.

2. Decree of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan No. 156 of 5 September 2009 on the Application of the Law of the Republic of Azerbaijan “On Education ”(Collection of Legislation of the Republic of Azerbaijan, 2009, № 9, Article 685; 2012, № 3, Article 197, № 4 , Article 289, № 6, Article 532; 2016, № 1, Article 76, № 11, Articles 1804, 1828, № 12, Article 2086; 2017, № 7, Article 1360, № 10, Article 1800, № 12 (1st book), Article 2313; 2018, № 2, Article 216, № 12 (Book I), Article 2545; 2019, № 3, Articles 403, 405, № 5, Article 847, № 8, Article 1398) shall be amended as follows:

2.1. In item 2.1 after the words “1.0.54” the words “14.8-1” should be added;

2.2. In item 2.11 after the words “1.0.54” the words “14.8-1” should be added.
