It is known that on November 7-10, World Science Forum was held in Jordan with the slogan "Science for Peace". President of ANAS, academician Akif Alizadeh, vice-president of ANAS, academician Ibrahim Guliyev and academician-secretary of ANAS, academician Rasim Alguliev, head of Laboratory of Institute of Management Systems, and correspondent member of ANAS Gorkmaz Imanov participated in the forum.

At today's meeting of the Presidium of ANAS, academician Rasim Alguliev shared his views on the "World Science Forum", which is considered the largest science meeting of the Middle East. The scientist pointed out the importance of the event and noted that it was organized both at the scientific and technical level. He said that about 3,000 scholars and experts from different countries gathered at the forum to discuss the priorities and challenges of world science and new factors in the development of technology.

R. Alguliev said that the agenda of the forum included sections on science and education policy, food safety, IV industrial revolution and other global scientific issues.

Presently, 30 percent of the world's population has access to the Internet, according to calculations, in the near future this figure will reach 90 percent, scientist lined out.
