He worked out the general theory of court expertise psychology for the first time at the former USSR area. He also identified new methods and psychological criteria of identification of physiological affect as well as classification of the types of court psychological expertise based on the same theory. Gained results are used in law practice, individualization of punishment and in the research of a subject. He defined the principles and conditions for the organization and conduct of forensic psychological examination of “a physiological affect ”, which has necessary importance for scientific and legal bases for evaluation of the the opinion of expert-psychologists.

Secondly, he worked out the theory of “ A new look at personality” and supervised conduction of fundamental investigations basing on this theory. Philosophical and psychological issues of ecology and social ecology, psychological bases of education and bringing up, regulation of humane’s behavior at extreme conditions, the role of Decarte’s , Aristotel’s and Bahmanyar’s opinions in development of cognitive theory, methodological bases of criminal and civil law as well as main issues of criminology, application of special knowledge in legal practice, social, philosophical and phychological aspects of national statehood and democratic development, massive psychology, psychological portrait of political and national leader, methodology of social and psychological investigations were included in scientific researches.

In 1990 he led the establishment process of the scientific and research laboratory of the court psychological expertise for the first time in Azerbaijan. The laboratory involved in its activities the Sourthern Caucasus and Central Asia of those times.
