| Main scientific achievements | 2 new families, 12 genera and 90 species of the free-living ciliates, being new to science have been described in the fresh waters of Caspian, and Cukot Bering Sea, Atlantic Ocean, Gulf of Mexico), Azerbaijan, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan, the sweet waters of the Carpathian Mountains, St. Petersburg, the Pacific island and territory of Tian-Shan. 4 new cytological methods have been prepared, copyright certificate has been given to the method. The universal bioindication method, having opportunity in determination of the pollution level with oil, oil products, insecticides in the cellular level with the free-living ciliates. The general methods, having opportunity in determination of the toxic level in the cellular and population level. For the first time, it has been proved, that "cosmopolitism" theory of the free-living protozoans isn't true. Protozoans have been divided in the ecological groups, intensity features identified based on the information. | |
