Studied music science for 8 years (XIII- XX centuries). Published fundamental monograph “Music science of Azerbaijan”. Laid the foundation of the Azerbaijani musical media science (source study), enriched Hajibeyov studies with new monographs and books, (translated into 12 foreign languages), published an academic edition of the composer's musical works, prepared the publication of medieval treatises "Kitabul-advar", "Sharafiyah (XIII c.)" by S. Urmavi, Fatullah Shirvani's "Music Code" (XV c.) "Visukhil-argam" (XIX century) MM Navvaba, compiled and published a dictionary of ancient musical terms. She published a monograph on the master of mugham J. Karyaghdyoghlu (on Azeri and Russian languages.) According to the data presented in the author's books, old musical instruments were restored. On the restored musical instrument the melody of XIII century was sounded (by S.Urmavi) is in the author's interpretation.

The author of the project and many articles, the scientific editor of the publication of the multi-volume "History of Azerbaijan Music".
