1.An assessment of the seismic hazard and risk of the Greater Baku area was conducted.

2. Level 2 seismic risks that could impact the Baku urban area were identified.

3. The Baku area was zoned according to the degree of damage depending on the type and design features of buildings.

4. The shear wave velocity parameter Vs, considered one of the important parameters in seismic design of buildings, was calculated using seismic exploration.

5. For the first time in Azerbaijan, a seismic exploration study of the structure of mounds was conducted.

6. A study of the Bayil and Badamdar landslide zones that occurred in 2018 was conducted, and the depth of the landslide plane, the volume of the landslide mass, and the direction of movement were determined.
