Azimov Boyukaga Aligulu was born on January 16, 1924 in Baku. In 1944 he graduated from the Azerbaijan Industrial Institute (now Azerbaijan State University of Oil and Industry) and in 1947 the Azerbaijan Pedagogical Institute.
In 1950 he was awarded the degree of Doctor of Philosophy in Technology, in 1963 - Doctor of Technical Sciences, in 1964 - Professor, and in 1967 he was elected Corresponding Member of AAS. B.Azimov was an engineer, graduate student, chief engineer, sector chief, laboratory director, deputy director (1944-1957, Chairman of the Committee of the USSR Council of Ministers. Deputy Chairman, Chairman of the Committee, Head of the Department of Science, Technology and Education (1957-1972), Deputy Academic Secretary of DPMMS (1976-1986). B.Azimov's research is mainly focused on automation of management. He laid the foundations for scientific research in the field of oil cybernetics in the country. For the first time, he solved the complex problems related to automation of the operation of the pumps operation reliability, created a system for optimizing the management of the pumps and introduced them into the AIS-oil extraction system. Under the guidance and with the participation of linear, nonlinear, parametric programming to solve the optimization of oil and water flow management in different operating modes of operation, the variability of optimization of the process of development of gas condensate fields under uncertainty conditions has been solved. B.Azimov is the author of more than 300 scientific articles and 27 monographs. He was awarded the Order of the Badge of Honor and was awarded the title "Excellent researcher of the USSR oil industry". Corresponding member of ANAS Boyukaga Azimov died in 1986 in Baku. |
