Mammadov Aydin Israfil oglu

Corresponding Member of the Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences Aydin Israfil oglu Mammadov was born in 1941 in the city of Delimammadli of Goranboy region.

A.Mammadov entered the Agricultural Economics Faculty of the Azerbaijan Institute of Agriculture in 1960.

In 1967 A.Mammadov was accepted into postgraduate study of the Moscow Academy of Agriculture named after K.Timiryazev.

A.Mammadov defended his thesis in 1970, in 1985 defended doctor’s degree. In 1986 he was awarded the title of professor.

In 1991 A.Mammadov was elected a corresponding member of the Russian Academy of Agricultural Sciences. He also worked as an expert of the Milli Mejlis of the Republic of Azerbaijan and headed the Expert Group of the Standing Committee on Agrarian Affairs of the Milli Majlis.

In 2001 A.Mammadov was elected a corresponding member of the Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences. Under his leadership, dozens of candidate dissertations were defended.

A.Mammadov has participated in various meetings, symposiums and conferences on the problems of the agrarian economy in many foreign countries (AFR, UK, Iran, Romania, etc.).

Corresponding member of ANAS Aydin Mammadov died in 2003 in Baku.
