Rustamov Pasha Habib oglu
Rustamov Pasha Habib oglu was born on May 20, 1920 in Shusha. Graduated from the Faculty of Chemistry of the Azerbaijan State University (1941).

In 1957 he was awarded the degree of Doctor of Philosophy in Chemistry, in 1967 - Doctor of Chemistry, and in 1968 - Professor.

From 1959 to 1983 he was the head of the laboratory at the Institute of Inorganic and Physical Chemistry of the Academy of Sciences of the Soviet Socialist Republic of Azerbaijan.

Rustamov was one of the founders of physical and chemical analysis and semiconductor chemistry in the Republic. He has studied the case diagrams of binary, triple and more complex systems, and has achieved remarkable results in the synthesis and study of semiconductor materials.

Rustamov is the author of more than 600 scientific works, including 51 copyright certificates and 14 monographs.

Under the guidance of P.Rustamov 10 doctors of sciences and 50 doctors of philosophy were trained. He was awarded the Order of the Patriotic War of the first degree, the Medal of Kurnakov and the bronze medal of the All-Union National Achievements Exhibition.

Corresponding member of ANAS Pasha Rustamov died in 1997 in Baku.
