Determination of chemical compositions, structural characteristics, hydrodynamic properties and mechanism of process of water-soluble poly carbohydrates and pectins derived from certain sorts of the species Mentha L.-Mint, Artemisia L. –Wormwood and Cerasus Mill.-Cherry.

Studying polyphenol complexes of plant origin, determining flavonoid and antioxidant compounds, separation of flavonoids, establishing their chemical structures, determination of antioxidant activity (total and anti-radical activity, reduction force and effect chelatization) extracts, individual compounds and the study of its dependence on their chemical structures, the development of method of complex treatment of certain types of these genres.

The bio morphological and medical features of some medicinal plants, studying the dynamics of their development, distribution, phytochemical composition and the possibility of their use as medicine in science and economy had been studied of some medical plants common in the territory of Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic.
