Basic activity directions   Development of scientific bases of purposeful synthesis of additives improving the protective properties of lubricating oils and use of them in the industry.
Main scientific achievements 

Co-condensation reactions of tautomeric mercaptobenzazolines with formaldehyde, binary amines (or alcohols) have been carried out. According to the results of 1H NMR and 13C spectroscopy, it was found that the reaction proceeded with N in the azoline group with the formation of new N-aminomethyl- and N-alkoxymethyl-benzothiazoline-2-thiones, respectively.

As a result of tests carried out in Turkey on the compounds synthesized by us for the first time, it was established that these compounds had physiological activity and were highly effective against glaucoma, diabetes mellitus and malignant tumors.

N-azidomethylbenzazoline-2-thiones were synthesized based on N-alkoxymethyl derivatives in the form of synthons, and as a result of tests it was found that these compounds protected Ст-3 steel from corrosion in an acidic environment by 99.9%.

By studying the mechanism of action of additives, as well as establishing a correlation between their functional action, composition and structure, the scientific foundations for the targeted synthesis of highly effective additives with an optimal structure have been developed;

A number of organic compounds that protect fuels, oils and special liquids from biological damage have been synthesized and comprehensively studied. The compounds obtained in 2022 were protected by patents of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
