“ Summer Space Festival” has been organized at the Shamakhi Astrophysical Observatory named after N. Tusi of the Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences.
120 people from different age groups participated in the festival.
The festival was organized on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the moon landing, which is called "the greatest leap of humanity."
Head of the Department of Planets and Small Sky Objects, PhD in Physics-Mathematics Adalat Etayi acquainted participants of the festival with the observatory's museum and gave detailed information about the exhibits there.
Then the participants were taken to the defined camp. Drone flights were monitored and a plane prepared by students of Baku Engineering University was demonstrated here.
The festival also featured the history of the telescope, the work principle and the results of its research.
