Azerbaijan National Academy of Science

Employees of the Institute of Soil Science and Agrochemistry (ISSA) of Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences (ANAS) are conducting field surveys in Beylagan, Imishli, Kurdamir, Agsu, Ujar, Neftchala and Gakh districts.

During the field research, experiments are being conducted to develop a fertilization and complex cultivation technology for adaptation of high-yield corn, sugar beet, soybean and wheat varieties to Azerbaijani conditions provided by the Shelkova Agrochemical Company of the Russian Federation.

Practices are implementing in accordance with a trilateral agreement between ISSA, Agricultural Research Institute of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Shell Aquaculture Company.

ISSA Director, correspondent member of ANAS Alovsat Guliyev and executive officer of the enterprise for field research, PhD in agrarian sciences Goshgar Mammadov reviewed the areas.
