The Chairman of the Supreme Majlis of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic Vasif Talibov signed an Order on the establishment of the Science Development Fundation under the Chairman of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic Supreme Majlis.

The Order is aimed at stimulating fundamental scientific innovations in the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic, expanding the study of natural resources, cultural and historical heritage and supporting innovative projects that are important for the state and society.

According to the Order, the Cabinet of Ministers of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic jointly with the ANAS Nakhchivan Division will prepare a draft rule of the Science Development Fundation under the Chairman of the Supreme Majlis of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic and submit to the Chairman of the Supreme Majlis of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic.

By the Order of the Chairman of the Supreme Majlis of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic dated September 13, 2019 was approved the Regulation of the Science Development Fundation under the Chairman of the Supreme Majlis of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic.

The Regulation reflected the general provisions, the main goals and directions of the Fundation, duties and rights, the formation and use of the resources of the Fund, the organization and management of the Fund and other items.
