Azerbaijan and Kazakh archaeologists held excavations in the Tepe Bashi territory, Fazil village in Sheki.
The studies were carried out in accordance with the agreement signed between ANAS Institute of Archeology and Ethnography and the Berelsky archaeological reserve of Kazakhstan.
During the research, traces of the ancient period and the Iron Age, as well as 5 graves and 3 altars were discovered.
The photoplan and 3D model of excavations at the excavation site were developed using unmanned aerial vehicles manufactured by the Center for Strategic Scientific Research of the Presidium of ANAS.
After completion of the work, some of the exhibits will be demonstrate by the Museum "Labyrinth of Eternal Peace", created by the late archaeologist Nasib Mukhtarov. Exhibits will be also demonstrate at local museums.
