Azerbaijanian and German scholars have discussed the results of seismological studies in the Caucasus.For this purpose at ANAS Institute of Geology and Geophysics the meeting with specialists of of the Research Centre for Geosciences Helmholtz (Potsdam Germany) took place. The event was opened by the head of department of pools modeling and Geotechnology Institute, Doctor of Geological and Mineralogical Sciences Dadash Huseynov informed the participants about the results of studies conducted in Caucasian mountains. Deputy Director of the Research Centre for Geosciences on regional issues Vorgan Misinger, Executive Board Member Ludwig Stroing, the Department of Early Warning Marco Pils, and also director of the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) in Azerbaijan Nicolas Ulish highly appreciated the presented results. Within a meeting the researchers conducted in the direction of studying of change of level, an ecological state and a geovariety of the Caspian Sea were also discussed.
