ANAS Institute of Zoology held an international scientific-practical seminar

ANAS Institute of Zoology, Chelyabinsk State University of Russia and Institute of Plant and Animal Ecology of Russian Academy of Sciences held an international scientific-practical seminar on "Modern methods of studying the history of animals and population ecology.

On the first day of the seminar, the Russian guests and staff of the Institute of Zoology visited the Gobustan National Historical-Art Reserve and held a detailed discussion on multidisciplinary research conducted between the two countries.

On the second day of the seminar, the event was opened by Director of the Instituteof Zoology, PhD in Physics Elman Yusifov informed the participants on the Russian scientists.

Next, were delivered papers on “Experience of using parasitological data in zoographic analysis of the Caspian Sea”, “Quantitative dynamics of the Caucasian leopard in Azerbaijan (Panthera pardus L., 1758)”, “Parasitic nematodes of the Mugan desert (Azerbaijan)”, “Paleolandscapes of the Holocene of Azerbaijan" etc.

Russian guests also visited the Museum of Natural History and the Binagadi State Reserve.
