“Astronomy Days at Schools" global project, as part of the 100th anniversary of the International Astronomical Union was launched on November 12. According to the project, scientists and specialists of ANAS Shamakhi Astrophysical Observatory after N.Tusi will organize events at schools of Shamakhi and Baku.

The event, jointly organized by the Youth and Children Development Center of the Ministry of Education, ShAO, the Education Department of the Shamakhi region and the Tusi-Bohm planetarium, aims to inform students about astronomy- one of the oldest fields of science and to provide its significance.

At the end of the projects, students will be awarded certificates.
